Obituary of Dorman Newman

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorman Newman announce his passing on March 14^th, 2024, at his home in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age 77 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: David (Lisa), Daniel (Hilda), Deon (Julie), Darren, Dean (Jessica); daughter-in-law Janet Newman; grandchildren Donovan (Gillian), Rebecca (Christopher), Cody, Emily, Danielle (Ryan), Derek (Danica), Delaney, Dayna (Spencer), Alyson, Dylan, Riley (Paige), Brendan, Diona (Joseph), Dina, Michael, Drew and Charlotte: great grandchildren: Deacan, Andi-Mae, Dakota, Lucy, Ruby, Delilah, Daisy, Jeremiah and Arianna: sister: Mae Sage; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dorman was predeceased by his wife: Hilda Newman; son: Donald Newman; and great grandson: Walter.

A visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Sunday, March 17^th, 2024, from 7:00-9:00 pm.

As per Dorman’s wishes cremation will take place. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25th, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the Pentecostal Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL with Pastor Russ Austin officiating.
