It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernice Green
announce her passing on Tuesday, September 11th, 2012 at the Western
Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 76. She will be
lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years Gorman, son Corrie
Green(Nancy), daughters: Martenia Green (Steve), Roxann Green,
Caroline Gallant (Stephen), Ramona Green, Olive White; grandchildren:
Kaden, Chase, Breanna, Lauren (Simon), Joshua (Jennifer), Cindy
(Bryce), Dorian (Michelle), Heather (Tim), Sheena (Sean), Stacey-Lee
(Demar), Margaret (David), Jonathon; great grandchildren: Lily, Liam,
Emily , Jordan, and Cylus; sisters and brothers: John White (Denise),
Edward White (Rose), William White (Nell), Murdock White jr. (Marie),
Bernard White (Leona), Christina Marschler (Harry), Cecilia Gallant
(Guy), special friend Sadie Jesso, as well as numerous nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son
Roderick, brother Ronald White, son-in-law Edward White and parents
Julia McCarthy and Murdock White. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
held Saturday, September 15th at 10:30 am from Our Lady Star of the
Sea Roman Catholic Church, Benoits Cove, Father Edmund Camacho
officiating, followed by the interment at the church cemetery. Family
visitation will take place on Thursday 2-4 pm. Public visitation will
take place Thursday7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm from
Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street. A reception will be
held immediately following the interment service at Our Lady Star of
the Sea Church Hall, everyone is welcome. As expressions of sympathy
flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to
the Janeway Children’s Hospital or a charity of ones choice.
