George passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 89 years. Left to mourn George are his sister Geraldine Percey; brother Edward (Barbara) Stone; sisters-in-law: Ivy Stone, Ruby Stone, Chris Stone and Blanche Brown; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. George was predeceased by his wife Edith on April 6, 2012, daughter Adele in 1999; sister Mildred French, brothers Cyril, Harold and John, parents Sadie and Edward. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 2:30 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling with Rev. Karen Laldin officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
