It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carl Edison announce his passing on Sunday, March 7th, 2010 at his residence, Corner Brook at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Betty; sons: Tom (Cindy) and Jason (Maxine); grandchildren: Brittney, Josie and Maya; sisters: Shirley Boone, Bertha Gardner, Daphne Dowden, Phronie (Cecil) Lush, Pat (Rod) Cole, Yvonne (Gerald) Brazil, Doris Edison, Chloe (Dave) French and Linda Keays (Jim Walsh); mother-in-law Florence “Nan” Robertson; brothers-in-law: Jerry (Gloria) Robertson, Tom (Glenice) Robertson, Chris (Paula) Robertson and Brian (Trixie) Robertson, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Carl and Beatrice Edison, brother Max Edison and father-in-law Tom Robertson. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 10th at 11:00 AM from Fillatre’s Chapel, 4 St. Marks’s with Monsignor Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
