Deborah Rose (Debbie) Courtney

Passed away suddenly at the Calder Health Care Center in Burgeo on Thursday November 16, 2017, Debbie Courtney in her 55th year. Leaving to mourn with loving memories husband Larry, son Roland (Keshia), son George, grandson Lance, father Joshua Thornhill, brother Hurbert; sisters Sylvia, Josephine ,  Rita and mother-in-law Kathleen Courtney, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Debbie was predeceased by mother Lucy Thornhill, father-in-law Gerald Courtney, grandparents Ruben and Deborah Thornhill, George and Emaline Mavin, Aunt Rita Mavin, Aunt Emma Hiller and Uncle Claude Mavin.  Visitation will take place from St. Simon and St. Jude Church in Francois, tentatively on Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 21^st at 2:00 p.m with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery.
